Yet, mastering new technology and understanding an emerging ecosystem can be daunting – especially if you're alone. That's why we're creating a new study group where we learn together, grow together, and yes, sometimes enjoy delicious Korean BBQ together while supporting each other's journey.

What is KBBQ?

KBBQ(Korea Base Builder sQuad) is a Korean Base Builder group created to study and grow together in the Base ecosystem.
While Season 1 starts as a Base Learn study program for non-developers, we plan to launch specialized programs for developers in future seasons. Our mission is to support all builders who will shape Korea's Base ecosystem, step by step.

Why KBBQ?

First things first - yes, we're actually going to have Korean BBQ meetups monthly. We take K-BBQ just as seriously as our studies! 😉

1. Collaborative Learning: Base Learn can be challenging to tackle alone. At KBBQ, we help, encourage, and grow together - sometimes over code, sometimes over perfectly grilled KBBQ.
2. Practical Experience: Beyond theoretical learning, gain hands-on experience in the Base ecosystem.
3. Networking: Connect deeply with like-minded peers through offline KBBQ meetups.
4. Mentoring: Gain broader perspectives through guidance from industry experts.

How Does It Work?

• Duration: February 4 - March 25, 2024 (8 weeks)
• Regular Meetings: Biweekly Tuesday (1-2 hours)
  • Online Meetings: 2/11(Tue), 3/11(Tue)
  • Offline Meetups: 2/25(Tue), 3/25(Tue) - Near Gangnam Station
• Special Events: Monthly offline KBBQ gatherings
• Size: Maximum 8 members for season 1 (non-developers & dev new to onchain building are welcome!)

1. Self-directed learning using Base's official materials (Base Learn) 
2. Bi-weekly progress checks and experience sharing Biweekly Tuesdays
3. Deeper networking at monthly offline meetings
4. Learning motivation through Base Learn NFT achievements

Who We're Looking For

• Those passionate about onchain and the Base ecosystem
• Individuals who can commit to 8 weeks of consistent participation
• People who enjoy growing together
• Both developers and non-developers welcome!
• Must be able to attend Seoul based offline meetups: As this is our first season and is a self-guided study group primarily for non-developers, we require members to be able to attend offline meetings to overcome potential challenges together!!
